  • Why St. Andrew Men Participate

    • I greatly value the support that I get from the other men. I find that others have the same problems and are dealing with the same issues I have.  Alone we fail – as a group we can achieve success.

    • To strengthen my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The fellowship with other Catholic men—listening to their struggles and victories encourages me to be a better person/Catholic.

    • The insight from the TMIY program, and from the other men attending the program, help me grow in my faith and my ability to teach and lead my family.

    • To maintain and grow my faith as a Christian. I think fellowship with like-minded men is essential for this. I think you become like those you most closely associate with. So, to my mind, if I want to live my life out as a Christian man, I need to be in fellowship with them.

    • To exchange prayers, ideas, challenges, strengths and weaknesses with by Brothers in Christ.  An element of accountability to help keep me (and them) on “the straight & narrow."

    • To make and take time in my day-to-day life for delibrate focus on how to be a better husband, father, and person.
