Operation Outreach 2021
~Your Christian Services Commission
We not only invite you to join our Christian Services Commission, but we invite you to join with a friend or family member or two.
Our commission is an umbrella of MANY Programs here at St. Andrew. We serve our parish, community, and far beyond. Many of our programs are family-friendly.
Please consider joining us in Service.
Easter Dinner Meals
Each year our parish is blessed to provide approximately 140 families with an Easter meal. Again this year, due to COVID-19, we will not be conducting a food drive. We will provide a monetary donation to Saline Area Social
Services, the residents of Mill Pond Manor, and our parish families.
If you would like to contribute, you may do so online at www.standrewsaline.org/online-giving.
Envelopes will also be available in the Narthex.
These can be deposited in the locked box in the Narthex or returned to the parish office mailbox.
Our collection will begin the weekend of Feb 27/28th. Please return by Sunday March 21st.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support
God Bless You,
~St Andrew Christian Services Commission.
Inspired with a desire to extend our work for Christ beyond the borders of our Saline community, OPERATION OUTREACH was established 18 years ago and has been the primary Lenten program offered by the St. Andrew Christian Services Commission. During this time, over $235,000 has been provided to help overseas organizations with whom St. Andrew has had a direct contact… thereby ensuring that every dollar contributed was used directly in support of the mission of the organizations involved.
As a result of your contributions; lives have been saved, children have been rescued from the streets, life sustaining food and water have been provided… and countless individuals have been given the opportunity to enjoy their basic human rights and experience the love of Jesus through your helping hand.
This year OPERATION OUTREACH will again be supporting four organizations with whom we have become well acquainted. We have asked Dr. Brian Kennedy from Hope Clinic International to speak this year about OPERATION OUTREACH after Masses the weekend of February 20th.
Each weekly bulletin will feature a different organization along with contribution suggestions for that week. A small amount of money can go a long way for the organizations we support. And now more than ever – every penny counts for these missions.
Please take some time to prayerfully consider how you might be able to make a small sacrifice in your life to make a really big difference in the life, and perhaps safe the life, of someone less fortunate.
God Bless You!
