Dinner. Thought-Provoking Presentation. Good Conversation.
7 Thursday evenings: September 26 - November 21, 6:00-8:15 pm Plus Saturday, November 16, 8:30 am - 2:00 PM
WHO: The Rescue Project is for anyone and everyone, adults & teens! [Babysitting will be available for younger children.] It appeals to those who have been walking with Jesus for years, as well as those for whom Jesus is only a figure in ancient history.
WHY: To help people make sense of the world, history, and their life, by considering the questions:
Why do I exist at all?
Why is life so amazingly beautiful and yet so terribly broken?
Where is God in all of this?
What is my purpose?
The Christian faith is often experienced as a mere set of rules, disciplines, and a community to be part of, but Jesus didn't say that he came to give us rules or friends, but to give us abundant life! The Rescue Project aims to reveal that life in a powerful and direct way. It courageously confronts the darkness while shining a light on the dynamite news of Jesus.
WHAT: A good dinner with a small group of people, followed by an engaging 30-45 minute presentation, finishing with honest discussion.
WHERE: St. Andrew the Apostle Parish Hall, 910 Austin Drive, Saline, MI 48176
