Why Adoration? Time with God

I love being in church when it is so quiet. I usually start with the rosary and then do some Bible readings or a book like, Holy Moments. Lately, I have been trying to hear God talk to me. But I think I do most of the talking to Him. Now that I am older I think more of Heaven and wonder what it takes to get there, so I ask God lots of questions about what I need to do more of and what things I need to change.

I wish I had spent more time with God when I was younger. I am sure I could have found an hour once a week to talk and listen to Him.
