My name is Emily Armentrout. I am currently a Physical Education Teacher at Merrill Community Schools, teaching grades K-12. I have a passion for inclusion and work with children who are blind/visually impaired as well as children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I graduated from Slippery Rock University, PA, in 2020 with a Masters in Adapted Physical Activity, Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, and a Major in Dance. In my free time I enjoy cuddling my pet rabbit Nestle and having game nights with my parents. In the near future, I hope to find myself living in Saline and potentially teaching at a collegiate level. As I find the love of God, I want to spread his word and love to those around me. I hope to encourage future educators to love every individual as their own and help them find their place in the world. [Editor's Note: Emily was received into the Order of Catechumens, a period of apprenticeship in Catholic life, in February 2021, and is preparing to receive the Sacraments of Initiation.]
