My name is Emily Armentrout. I am currently an Adapted Physical Education Teacher at Freedom Acres (Ionia ISD) in Ionia. I work with students ages 3-26 with a wide range of abilities including Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Emotional Impairments. I have a passion for inclusion and teach my students that they too can accomplish all things. I graduated from Slippery Rock University, PA, in 2020 with a Masters in Adapted Physical Activity, Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, and a Major in Dance. In my free time I enjoy cuddling my pet rabbit Henry and having game nights with my finance David Stall. I am looking forward to my baptism and married life. As I find the love of God, I want to spread his word and love to those around me. I hope to encourage my peers to love every individual as their own and help them find their place in the world. [Editor's note: Emily will receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil in 2022. Please support her in prayer and friendship.]
